World Health Organization (WHO)

World Health Organization (WHO) is a specialized UN agency acting as a coordinator and researcher for public health worldwide. Founded April 7, 1948 and based in Geneva, Switzerland, the agency will be charged on the strength and resources of its predecessor, the Organization, through the League of Nations agency. WHO Constitution states that its mission is to make all the peoples of the highest attainable standard of health.
